Cline: Estamos desarrollando proyectos con varias agencias del mundo de VR
Marcos Cline, Executive Producer at Altered.La, highlighted in an interview with PRODU that 2016 was one of the most interesting years for the production company. “We continue seeing evolution towards total market, which pleases me greatly, since the phrase ‘Hispanic is the New General Market’ is not only true but also makes us proud” he said. Cline commented that this evolution proposes the challenge of redefinition, since content production in Spanish has decreased. “Challenges become success. In 2016 we managed to have a good balance between traditional advertising projects and productions for social platforms. In other fields aside from advertising, we managed to finish a feature film and were recently chosen as finalists in MIPCancún with a pitch for a series. Additionally, our original content slate exceeds 20 projects.”The production company is facing 2017 with great optimism. After the elections in 2016, they hope to see an inventory opening in TV stations, that allows them to have a more active year in traditional advertising. “We are also developing projects with several specific agencies in the VR world, technology that will grow importantly in market penetration, allowing more and more people to have access to our content” he shared. The Executive Producer feels that towards the end of 2017 we will see greater development and investment in activations and experiences that include VR technology, while branded content will have great presence throughout the entire year.
