The woman and minority-owned Hispanic public relations agency, Santa Cruz Communications (SCC) is celebrating 15 years. During that time, the firm has enjoyed productive relationship with a roster of clients that includes Spanish-language television network Telemundo, non-profit national teaching corps Teach For America, one of the nation’s largest service organizations, and Latin television personality Ana Maria Polo. “When I launched Santa Cruz Communications 15 years ago, there was one thing I had very clear, and that is that I wanted to provide a very personalized and quality service to my clients. My goal was to offer knowledge and expertise above all, and thus it was critical that our team would consist of seasoned and talented Executives whose main focus was to meet our client’s objectives, rather than delegating work to junior staff” said Claudia Santa Cruz, President at Santa Cruz Communications. The company is celebrating its new milestone with a University Tour in Ecuador this month that will offer future PR practitioners insight into U.S. industry practices, specifically focusing on its work for Telemundo’s Billboard Latin Music Awards. Santa Cruz Communications has carved a niche in the entertainment industry as being one of the driving forces in not only growing media awareness and interest for Hispanic driven entertainment shows. SCC has earned an excellent reputation in the Hispanic market. In 2015, the company won the HPRA National Bravo Award for Media Event Campaign of the year for its work with on TELEMUNDO’s 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards, the most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world.
