For the 2017 edition of The One Show, Luis Camaño, Brand Activation Director at Grupo Gallegos, will be in the Branded Entertainment category and admits to PRODU that he is really proud to represent the agency and be part of that prestigious show. Content, Application Activation and Virtual Reality (VR) are some of the works he has had to review in the first round, which ended on Monday November 7th. “What I always look for in this type of show is something that surprises me, originality in the concept -because platforms are always the same- and authenticity.”The evaluation process has two digital phases and one face-to-face: the first ended on November 7th, the second round starts in December, and the third one is set to take place in March 2017. “In my experience, I love the live session, because it is a very nurturing moment for each one of the participants. And, despite the arguments and differences in perspectives, a very nice energy is created in the group. Camaño has participated as juror in the One Show, New York Festivals, Effies, Addy’s, PRO Awards, Reggies, W3 Awards and Creativity International. “They have left me with a sense of humbleness, because there are jurors with whom you spend an entire day and you have to be open to the different points of view.” He adds that “we Hispanics are more open to everything and have lots of influence throughout our career.”
