For Victor Paredes, Strategy Director at Wing the advertising industry seeks to understand and work on the U.S. Latino population influence. Talking to PRODU, he said that cultural awareness is more important than having that skill or ability. “The advertising and marketing business should open to all what’s complex in communications, with more accuracy on the targeting” he said. “Cultural skills enables you to be more accurate and smarter in all the work for the business.” We must continue to teach clients about the diversity that exists in the U.S., he said, and strategy is key for leading and inspiring the best creativity, and also to offer the best solutions for clients. Paredes, who recently joined Wing, said that it’s an honor working with talent of the global stature of the Hispanic agency. “I’m also very interested in the opportunity of leading the multicultural strategy, including the inspiration and encouragement that gives me to be able to contribute totally to GREY’s cultural skills, on the eve of their 100th anniversary.” Regarding the agency, he said that one bonus is the work they develop in digital and social; the opportunity of having a greater integration with GREY and Wing’s growth in the pharmaceutical category.
