Cabrera será jurado en Craft
For Nelson Cabrera, Director at Cherry Sundae Media, it is an honor to be part of the jury of the U.S.H. Idea Awards, that recognizes the best of the Hispanic market and boosts the U.S. Círculo Creativo. “Several of our works are nominated, so I hope we win gold”.He explained to PRODU that his contribution will be his experience in other festivals, such as The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (The Oscars) and in the Director’s Guild of America. “I have seen great pictures and and voted in the Directors category”. The Hispanic market is improving each year, he points out, but there is still a long way to go if you want to compete at an international level, such as in the Cannes Lions festival. “I am very proud to belong to the Hispanic market. I have seen it grow for more than 25 years in the U.S. and we have made excellent progress. I love to work with my Hispanic agencies, who feel like family and not clients.”The U.S.H. Idea Awards will be held on Wednesday October 12th, with a renewed jury panel. In this edition, the Círculo Creativo extended the panel to 66 members, including a large number of first-level creatives, and incorporated planners and leaders of production companies, for the Planning & Strategy and the Craft categories, respectively. They also added a considerable number of female members to encourage gender diversity.
