For Razzetti, resistance always manifests as an attack to the tool being adopted, but what really matters is reminding what behaviors are the ones you want to inspire. “With Slack we’ve been able to remove toxic behaviors in our emails. Now we only copy those that need the communication, we’ve encourage full transparent communication without any hidden copy. What we did was to create an environment to promote healthier collaboration, reminding ourselves that we interact with smart human beings, treating them and their time with respect, and to address tensions face to face” Razzetti explained in the blog. His last advice in driving behavior changes is to adopt them officially and with enforcement, because presenting something new as optional, it will always be an option.
