Material que elabora Consolidated Credit para celebrar el mes de la hispanidad
With the goal of supporting the efforts of Hispanics in the U.S. to improve their financial education and promote their economic stability at the long term, Consolidated Credit celebrates amidst the Hispanic Heritage Month the first anniversary of its portal CelebrandoLaHispanidad, that will now be bilingual. The website was launched on September 15th, 2015 with the goal of helping Latina families reach financial health. The portal has interactive maps, financial tools, infographs, videos, calculators, advice for budgets and savings. “Hispanic-Americans represent 17% of the total U.S. population and if Latinos in the U.S. were a country, they would represent the ninth largest economy in the world” said Beatriz Hartman, Community Development Manager at Consolidated Credit. However, the company highlighted that more than half of Hispanics still receive financial education from their relatives and friends, which is why CelebrandoLaHispanidad.com not only seeks to celebrate the contributions of Latina culture in the country, but also help Hispanics to build the financial knowledge they lack due to cultural differences and the language barrier. The consulting firm also has partnerships with non-profit organizations, such as Hialeah Housing Authority, Hispanic Unity, Miami Beach Community Development Corporation, United Way, Career Source and Broward Housing Authority. It also has another web portal in Spanish, a Facebook page and a YouTube channel.
