The National Hispanic Heritage Month is held from September 15th to October 15th. This is a period where the contributions and important presence of Hispanics and Latinos in the U.S. is recognized, and their culture and heritage is celebrated. One of the sector where this group has had great impact is technology and communications. Claudio Hidalgo is one of the influencers that fills with pride the Hispanic community. Hidalgo is Sprint’s President for Florida, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. Under his tenure -that began on the first quarter of this year- he has committed to further deepen his relations within the Hispanic communities, providing exceptional services and products. “This is a crucial moment for Sprint. We continue taking our business and consumer’s experience to new heights. I feel honored to be working alongside such a talented team in order to boost the growth of the Hispanic market” Hidalgo said. Hidalgo is only one of the 55 million Hispanics that live in the U.S., they stand for 17% of total population in the country and have influenced it in a positive way. The invitation of Latino organizations is to celebrate those Hispanic people that have had good impact and influence in North America.
