Rafa Lara joins the Bonsai3 roster to be part of their team of directors

The production company Bonsai3, with headquarters in Miami, Bogota, Mexico and Buenos Aires announced the incorporation of the Mexican film Director Rafael “Rafa” Lara to its team, which already had nine directors with great career paths. Lara has three feature films: his first work, El Quinto Mandamiento (The Fifth Amendment), where he narrates the story of a serial killer who was sexually abused as a child; La Milagrosa (The Miraculous), another of his films, covers the topic of kidnapping; and more recently he finished in Mexico Labios Rojos (Red Lips), a romantic situation comedy. As well as directing films, he also has experience in TV with series like Al Filo de la Ley (13×60′), broadcasted for the first time on TVE’s La Primera and a documentary series for Discovery Channel about Latin America. He has also directed advertising commercials for several well-known brands in the region like Kia, Toyota, General de Seguros and Victoria Beer.
