The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) spoke with Michael Lacorazza, VP of Integrated Marketing at Wells Fargo, about the importance of the 2016 ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards. Lacorazza won in 2015 the most important award in the LGBT category and knows the insights of multicultural communications. “Greater participation helps all the members to see what is happening in our practice” said Lacorazza. “This is an opportunity to learn from other brands in a closed and safe brand environment.” ANA informed that for this edition they have implemented new categories, like B-to-B and Experiential Marketing. They also refreshed the Radio category and renamed it Audio, for now it includes radio, radio for Internet and podcasts.Submissions are open with preferential rates until July 1st and close on July 8th. The competition is open for all marketing executives, agencies and media companies. Pieces will be awarded according to their creative excellence, their relevance and their business results in the following categories: Afro American, Asian, Hispanic market, LGBT, Disabled people, Digital and Social Media, Print, Total Market and Significant Results.
