People spend on average 31 seconds on Canvas, according to a Facebook announcement in a report on the new metrics of their advertising initiative, created to build immersive experiences, launched last February.More than 50% of the ads in Canvas are created in 10 minutes or less, and the top ten countries in which people see the initiative are: The U.S., Brazil, Mexico, Italy, The UK, France, Thailand, Germany, Turkey and India.According to the social network, the program aims to build a mobile experience that motivates people to spend time on it, as well as making it easier/faster for companies to create these experiences for mobile devices, worldwide.Canvas was created thanks to the collaboration of the advertising community, Facebook engineers, designers and a creative workshop, all working together and offering continuous feedback.
