Hispanic agency Dieste was awarded with two silver pencils in the categories: Direct, Digital and Interactive subcategory (web sites, social networks and mobile) and Advertising subcategory for its Adoptable Trends campaign for Dallas Pets Alive. Dieste was also presented with a merit award. “Over the last year, Dieste has consistently won in every big award show worldwide. Winning One Show pencils takes our game to the next level. Our success is only as good as our last job, so we celebrate the fact that our agency is on the top, but at the same time we are aware that continuing the hard work will keep us focused” says Ciro Sarmiento, Dieste’s CCO. “Right now we are very proud that the industry recognizes our expertise on delivering multi-functional platforms with results for our clients.” With Adoptable Trends, Dieste was able to include shelter pets on social networks’ schedule, taking advantage of trending topics. They gave names to the pets searching homes using relevant topics in Twitter to post them in those conversations. After a year, the adoption average increased 200%. At the same time, people gave funny names for dogs in adoption.
