The Community rolls in two wheels its new campaign

11 de mayo de 2016

The multicultural agency based in Miami unveiled its most recent work for Buenos Aires city, called No actúes como peatón (Don’t act as a pedestrian). The goal of the campaign is to educate new cyclists using Ecobikes, the automatic bicycle system of the Argentinian capital. “Many of the new cyclists don’t follow traffic rules because they forget what going from walking to be on a bicycle means. In other words, they still think as pedestrians” states the agency in a press release. Buenos Aires is the only Latin American city ranked as one of the friendliest cities to ride a bike in the world. The bicycle program of Buenos Aires began in 2010 with three stations and 100 daily trips. Currently it encompasses 135 km of cycle routes, 200 stations and 11 million cyclists. During this period, a large number of people began to use bikes for their daily trips around the city, including tourists of all around the world.
