Big names but also even bigger content – that helps the industry grow- is what defines the 2016 AHAA annual conference, according to Linda Lane, Chairwoman of the event which opens on Monday 18 and has been titled AHAA 20/20: The Future in Focus. “Our goal this year is to put on the best multicultural marketing conference” she said. Hispanic millennials have become critical to the success of forward-thinking brands today, Lane told PRODU. “As Hispanic marketers, we are in the unique position to lead our industry in helping to shape the business strategies of tomorrow. Thats what we will be delivering to conference attendees this year: new data, new ways of thinking, up-and-coming trends, and solid business-building practices.” 2016 AHAA conference will focus in: branded content, ad blocking, digital advertising fraud, programmatic, among other topics. “These are just some of the ever-evolving realities that are forcing marketers, media, agencies and the entire marketing ecosystem to explore a new future together.” For Lane, Total Market continues to be a debate within the industry, and cross-cultural message must be carefully crafted and based on the target. “Marketers also need dedicated segment strategies that address distinct purchasing behaviors, belief systems and triggers, all within the overall marketing strategy.” Among the important figures giving this years keynote conferences are: Wendy Clark, President-CEO of North America DDB; Roberto Orcí, Screenwriter and film/TV Producer; and Luis Balaguer, Founder and CEO at Latin World Entertainment (LatinWE).
