2016 is a big year for AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing. The organization is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has carefully prepared its annual conference. This edition theme is AHAA 20/20: The Future in Focus and the debate will be about how the industry and the Hispanic market has changed in the past two decades, focusing in the incoming exponential transformation of technology and demographics that is shaping the U.S. The event will be taking place at the Nobu Eden Roc Resort in Miami from April 18 to 20. “Our market is more relevant than ever. Second and third-generation Hispanics have become the lifeblood of our nation and the strategic lynchpin to the most successful marketing campaigns” said AHAA Chair Linda Lane-Gonzalez. “Brands, media and agencies that are looking to evolve with this dynamic marketplace will be attending this landmark conference.” The event starts Monday when singer/songwriting duo and sons of legendary singer Ricardo Montaner, Mau y Ricky, will perform live during the welcome cocktail party and will debut songs from their first album. The conference will open Tuesday with a presentation given by Wendy Clark, President-CEO of North America DDB. Other notable speakers include film and television Screenwriter and Producer Roberto Orci; Eric Reynolds, SVP-CMO, The Clorox Company; Luis Balaguer, Founder and CEO of LatinWE, among many others.
