Dieste received two nominations in the 2016 One Show Awards for its {Adoptable trends;www.produ.com/publicidad/videos/index.html?Noti=9385} campaign for Dallas Pets Alive. The piece is competing in the categories Direct, subcategory Digital (websites, social networks and mobile) and the Advertising subcategory in Interactive. The gala will be on May 13th in the Cipriani Wall Street in New York. This campaign took two Lions from Cannes 2015 and multiple accolades in other festivals. The idea sprung to promote the adoption of animals that live in shelters and must be put to sleep unless they find a home. In the U.S. each year between 6 and 8 million dogs end up in animal shelters and only half of them get adopted. Dieste included the shelter pets in the agendas of social networks, leveraging on trending topics. They gave the animals names that were relevant in Twitter in order to insert them in those conversations and that way, after a year, the rate of adoption increased 200%. They came up with very funny dog names.
