Castillo: Ford debe continuar tomando en cuenta el impacto de sus operaciones en el medio ambiente

Karina Castillo, Programs Director at The Cleo Institute (Climate Leadership Engagement Opportunities) and Latino Outreach Organizer and Moms Clean Air Force, has been working many years with climate change, focusing in educating and involving different audiences in South Florida. Due to this dedication Ford recognized her in its fourth year of Legendary Women. “It is an honor for me and a responsibility being selected as a Legendary Woman by Ford company. I am especially proud of representing thousands of Latinos working to promote knowledge about the environmental impact and consequences of climate change or global warming” she said to PRODU. Castillo was selected in the Green Category among the brand’s cores: smart, quality and safety. “As long as we educate and create awareness in our communities, we are more responsible of caring about the environment and better becoming stewards of our planet care.” In her opinion, Ford should continue taking into account the environmental impact of its operations and putting their best efforts for contributing to education in reduction of damage to the environment.
