Mollá: No solo se trata de etnicidad, es también un problema de género y orientación sexual
Founder and Executive Creative Director at The Community, José Mollá wrote a transcendent reflection on his Facebook account about diversity within the framework of Womens Day this March 8. “Diversity is still an important issue in our industry. And its not just ethnicity, but also gender and sexual orientation” he wrote. “Diversity is not just the right thing to do. Having different backgrounds and points of view really makes things more interesting. I am very proud to receive Advertising Age Multicultural Agency of the Year award, on behalf of every communitarian.” The agency had already stand out in the 2012 Ad Age ranking as Agency to Watch, and in 2013 and 2015 ranked in the 7th and 8th A-List positions, respectively. In 2016 it won this award because of its understanding of multicultural consumers and the smoothness in which they move in different cultural environments that define the current U.S. population. The sustained growth and success of The Community in the U.S. is in part due to their respect for diversity. Brands admire the quality of their ideas and how they communicate, specially with Hispanic millennials.
