Ford Motor Company has a long history of recognizing the achievements of women in society. This is the fourth year the automaker conducts its Legendary Women initiative to honor Hispanic women who embody Fords four core characteristics: smart, green, quality and safety. The event is to honor Clara Bryant Ford – wife of Henry Ford- a philanthropist and community leader and a key figure in the long history of influential women. It recognizes 20 executive women -four of them stand out as leaders in Miami- for their extended career and leadership within the community. Natascha Otero-Santiago stands out for her role as Principal at NOS-Communications, a firm that aids both small companies and Forbes 500 to develop PR, social media campaigns and community events. Monique Catoggio owner of a firm that helps professionals and executives that wish to be authentic, striking, well-balanced and healthy leaders. Karina Castillo has spent some years working with climate change, focusing on teaching and engaging different audiences in South of Florida and currently is Programs Director at The CLEO Institute (Climate Leadership Engagement Opportunities), a non-profit organization. Finally standing out is Yvette Alemán, President and CEO of F. R. Alemán & Associates, an engineering and surveying consultancy firm, specialized in planning, design and building public infrastructure projects supervision for almost three decades.
