Univision launched its campaign Vota por tu América to increase participation of Hispanic, multicultural and millennial voters, in the general 2016 US elections.”This year with our campaign Vota por tu América, we will fulfill our mission like never before by offering unique, non-partisan, culturally relevant resources to Hispanic citizens. We are expanding our mission by combining our multiple platform model with our strategic allies so they interact with multicultural and millennial voters who comply with the requirements to participate” said Randy Falco, President and Executive Director of Univision Communications. Univision Communications will use its media resources in all digital platforms aimed at broadcast and community empowerment to offer resources with cultural relevance for voters, including the Univision Network, UniMás, UniMás, Galavisión, Univision Deportes, local media of Univision, Univisión Digital, Flama and The Root. Also, the company’s strategic partners, FUSION and El Rey Network, will participate in the campaign to expand the initiatives of UCI even more among multicultural and millennial voters.The main elements include the first election guide in digital format, Vota por tu América, hundreds of local events that tap into the 126 local radio and TV stations, and the bilingual tool to send text and on-air as well as multi-platform messages.
