BlackVan Films comes into the U.S. Hispanic market as a creative solution for audiovisual production

Advertising industry veterans and Conill’s Creative Directors for the last 10 years, Matías Aubi and Ariel Dress turned around their careers to open BlackVan Films in partnership with Producer Pavel Cantú. The new production house, based in L.A., has already developed important projects for brands like California’s Lottery and Wendy’s. “The idea of BlackVan is to take advantage of our experience as creatives in order to interpret and protect the creatives ideas within the production house. We know the market very well and we know the creatives, clients and agencies’ needs, and we communicate them internally to accomplish the best outcome” the partners explained. “We’re improving the production process, changing what we always wanted to do in a production house when we filmed our own commercials as creatives.” Cantú worked for many years as Director for several of the most recognized production houses, and in the last 10 years he developed his career as Producer and independent Director. “2015 was the year of birth, formation and structuring of the production house. We began with Pablo Fusco as sole director, who trusted us and the project from its beginning. Afterwards Rosenfeld and Fede Garcia joined, all Argentinian. Recently we included Gringo -a pair of young L.A. Directors- as part of the staff” they said. “We want to position ourselves as a production quality boutique, we want to give each project and each of our directors the dedication they deserve.”
