Hispanicize announced that the call for nominations for the 2016 Positive Impact Awards sponsored by Prudential Financial is open. Nominations, which will honor four every-day people who have gone the extra mile to make a difference in their communities, will be accepted online until Monday 29th through the program’s website.”Never before has there been a bigger need to proudly and boldly recognize the positive, community-shaping contributions of Latinos in the United States” said Manny Ruiz, Founder and Creative Director of Hispanicize 2016. “Prudentials proven commitment to the empowerment and betterment of communities across the country makes them a great partner and champion for this program.”The honored individuals will be evaluated by a panel formed by leaders of the industry, including Hispanicize’s 2016 advisory board members. The audience will have the opportunity to vote online for one honoree to be recognized as Positive Impact Person of the Year at the awards gala on April 5th, in Miami.In the last two years, the Positive Impact Awards have honored 25 Hispanics in the U.S. who have dedicated their lives, time and money to ensure their communities have access to to the resources and support they need to succeed.”The Positive Impact Awards are an excellent platform to honor those who share our vision of strengthening communities through collaboration and innovation” said Mammen Verghis, Multicultural Marketing VP at Prudential Financial.
