Alfonso Guerra, VP de Wide Angle Productions Group
Alfonso Guerra, VP at Wide Angle Productions Group, said to PRODU that 2015 was a year of growth and expansion. The firm reported growth in TV, advertising and corporative sector, recording in average 70 projects monthly. For Guerra this year trend will be focused in pieces developed for smart phones. “I see shorter pieces for mobile interaction, video online pop ups when some searching engines are used. There are apps for small screens, for example in the area of wearables. There, I just recorded voice in Spanish for a device and exercises app for an innovative manufacturer of that market” he explained. He said that there is no favorite voice for brands or agencies to reach millennials or Hispanics. “Although each client has his vision, luckily we dont have to be 15 or 30 years old to record for that population segment. He added that creatives and scriptwriters take care of the content that must talk to the target, and I attempt to know more about values and interests of each audience before recording, which I consider helps me to connect better in my readings.” He said that if you trust, understand and respect interests, you dont have to be or sound like a millennial to deliver a message to the audience. “We all have something of millennial, GenX, GenY in our hearts and even a little of Woodstock.”
