Lisette Hoyo, SVP of Client Services at Newlink America talked to PRODU about the companys 2015 performance and challenges for this year. “2015 was a year of expansion and innovation for Newlink” she said. Some of their achievements included: the growth of their U.S. Hispanic PR assignments with Coca-Cola and ESPN Deportes, extending contract with the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, and new business wins with accounts such as Juan Valdez Café, Kunachia, and UBER LATAM.Hoyo explained that in 2016, Newlink is aiming for continued growth and evolution with strong focus on digital, content and social marketing. “We will continue using collaborative methods and orbital thinking, which respond to the demands of today’s ever-changing world, to power innovative ideas” she explained.She highlighted that: “Innovation is one of our core values at Newlink, and acknowledged the work of their Senior Director of Digital and Audiovisual Production, Federico Bianchi, as a pioneer in the implementation of virtual reality technology. Using Newlink Immerse, Federico is helping our clients engage in a different and innovative way with their target audiences, creating affinity and interaction with their brands. 360 degree video is a major innovation in the audiovisual industry.” One example of this work is the launch brand new, ultramodern original programming and content production facility of ESPN Deportes. “This new product gives users a 360° immersion experience, providing the ideal vehicle to communicate with key audiences in an engaging and interactive format” she added.
