Claudio Lima assumes the role of VP creative at Ogilvy Brazil

Claudio Lima says goodbye to his role as CCO at Y&R/Bravo Miami and takes over the creative area at Ogilvy Brazil, beginning Monday 18th. The appointment marks Lima’s return to the agency where he began in 1999 and where he worked between 2008 and 2012. Fernando Musa, CEO at Ogilvy & Mather Brazil, said that Lima will bring to the agency a more global vision due to his international experience. “He is a professional that identifies himself with Ogilvy culture and knows the agency deeply and many of our clients” Musa said. During his tenure in Y&R/Bravo Miami, Claudio Lima worked for brands like Fedex, Dell, Coca-Cola, Unilever, among others. He also helped the shop win its firsts Lions in Cannes Festival. “I am very happy to come back to Ogilvy and Brazil. The last time I worked for Ogilvy was for one year, only after the partnership between Musa and Anselmo began, and I saw how everyone struggled for the same and made of Ogilvy one of the best agencies of the world. And now, working together with Musa, who is a professional I know, admire and respect, I hope to continue in this path, so people do a good job, but also for them to feel in a great place to work” Lima said. Lima stands out for being part of great agencies such as: Wieden+Kennedy Portland, FCB Chicago and DRAFTFCB Nueva York, and by wining 28 Cannes Lions throughout his career.
