Marco Vega of We Believers: TV is more a screen for making consumers participants in creating brands experiences

Maye Albornoz| 15 de diciembre de 2015

Marco Vega, Co-Founder and Creative Strategy Chief at We Believers shared with PRODU his vision regarding the role that TV will play in the advertising industry in years to come. He predicts TV will continue to prevail as an important media, where advertisers will share and build experiences with audiences, supported by the new digital platforms. “TV is going nowhere. After all, it’s more a screen for making consumers participants in creating brands experiences. It will continue to be one of the key elements to build media plans, but not essential to build brands, just as social networks by themselves are not” he assured. For Vega, when developing marketing and communication strategies for advertisers, media and platforms should be taken on board. However, the focus must be on a clear brand’s business goal, because is there where appropriated actions unpin in benefit of the message that advertisers want to deliver. “It must be clear for the consumer, the client and the agency.”
