IPG Mediabrands announced the promotion of David Cohen to the recently created role of President of Magna Global U.S. As of January 1st, Cohen will supervise the evolution of investment and intelligence units to offer a better service to Mediabrands’ portfolio of clients. “David’s rise to oversee Magna Global U.S. is the natural next step for a leader that has already so positively impacted our clients and network with his forward-thinking strategies and solutions” said Mediabrands’ CEO Henry Tajer in a statement.David Cohen has a 17-year career path in Interpublic Group. He established UM’s digital practice in 2001 and ten years later was named Global Chief Investment Officer of UM. He currently serves on the 4A’s Media Leadership Committee, and presided 4A’s Digital Marketing Committee between 2009 and 2013.”I am very happy to work with all IPG Mediabrands’ clients and media partners and with the agencies that are part of IPG, infusing first level work in data, analytics, previsions and intelligence equipments/products by Magna for new solutions, thus offering a better service to each one of them” stated Cohen.Another executive who has successfully performed in the network for some time, Dani Benowitz, has been promoted to Investment Director for Magna Global U.S.
