The main Hispanic market agencies agents gathered at the XX AHAA anniversary. Horacio Gavilán, Executive Director of the organization told PRODU that they have advocated for increased investment for the Hispanic market. “We are seeing the results of the visionaries that worked tirelessly on behalf of Hispanic marketers. That small group of agency principals that banded together in 1996 created a powerful industry where today, top brands are leading with Hispanic and multicultural insights” Gavilán said. “Every 30 seconds, a Hispanic turns 18” he added, which means that Hispanics are now the mainstream. “Now Hispanic consumer is the key to corporate bottom line growth, and AHAA members are the people who understand this powerful segment and the creative strategies to target them.” One of the AHAA 2016 goals is to focus in carrying on with the understanding consumers debate. “Beyond 2016, we will continue providing the industry with consumer insights, actionable solutions to meaningfully connect with multicultural consumers and build ROI.”
