Apple, Google and Coca-Cola topped Interbrand’s best global brands 2015. According to Interbrand’s report, for the third year in a row Apple ranked as the world’s most valuable brand, with a 43% increase in value reaching US$170.276 billion. The 100 Best Global Brands value of this edition amounts US$1.7 billion, meaning 7.1% total value brand increase compared with Best Global Brands 2014. “In this year ranking, the prevailing sector was automotive brands with a total of 15 in the list. However, 13 technological brands are really the ones on the top, amounting more than one third of their value. Corona is the most valuable Latin American brand for another year, with a 2% increase which shows it has continued consolidating its brand worldwide” said Gonzalo Brujó, CEO EMEA & LatAm at Interbrand. New entries on this years list are LEGO, PayPal, Mini, Moët & Chandon and Lenovo. On the other hand, 5 brands stand out due to their value increase: Facebook (#23, +54%), Apple (#1, +43%), Amazon (#10, +29%), Hermès (#41, +22%) and Nissan (#49, +19%). American and German brands lead this year ranking (54 US brands an 11 from Germany).
