Tennis player Serena Williams stars in a new commercial by TBWA Chiat Day. The one-minute ad portrays the tennis champion since her early days when she was just a child hoping to become a professional player, until the present when she is a reference in the world of sports. Further into the clip featuring highlights in her career -which includes 21 world titles- the camera returns to the answer she gave when she was a child. In hindsight, it is bold and prophetic.Facing the upcoming start of the U.S. Open, beverage brand Gatorade has launched a campaign that reviews the life of Serena Williams.The brand has chosen the U.S. player to reflect the values of effort and perseverance to reach the pinnacle. Gatorade has also commissioned artists from around the world the creation of 21 pieces of art to represent each one of Williams´ victories in the Grand Slams. Under the title Serena 21″, the pieces were hand painted on an outdoor wall in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
