Taco Bell made an alliance with the courier service DoorDash to deliver their products. The service is currently only available in California and Dallas. The initiative is part of the effort that Taco Bell is making to offer delivery service in the entire country. The company is initially testing smaller markets, but the aim is to catch up with major players in the food and beverage industry who already offer this mobile service.”Delivery is the number one request from our fans. We see this on social media and hear it in restaurants”, said Lawrence Kim, Director of Digital Commerce at Taco Bell. “We are delighted to be able to offer this experience in selected markets. We are also inviting fans to share their feedback on social networks, using #TacoBellDelivery to help us determine the next market we will offer the service in”.More and more restaurants have discovered the potential in offering their menus on mobile applications.
