Torres Multicultural Communications, a Phoenix agency that is changing multicultural merchandising, is pleased to announce the representation of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) on the Programa de Compromiso Latino (Latin Commitment Program).TMC manages communication media, public relations, communication strategy planning, social media, and graphic design services for the Latin commitment effort in several key states.League of Conservation Voters is a national environmental organization, committed with making environmental values a national, state, and local priority. LCV launched the Programa del Compromiso Latino in 2011 to strengthen the voice and leadership of Latin communities around the country in the battle against climate change and for clean energy.Tania Torres, president and executive director of TMC, said: ” League of Conservation Voters has amazing plans to increase the voice and leadership of the Latin community regarding weather change and clean air. We are honored to spearhead LCV’s communication effort aimed at the Latin community”.Nine out of ten Hispanic voters prefer the US to invest in clean and renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels, and 86% of Latinos support the Obama administration in taking actions to limit pollution by carbon dioxide, according to a recent survey by Latino Decisions.
