Meerkat es una aplicación que sirve para compartir momentos íntimos con personas conocidas
Meerkat is an example of how fast technology evolves in the US. The 2.0 universe changes dramatically and what was a trend yesterday, today is a thing of the past, giving way to new functionalities.Three weeks of life have been enough for Meerkat to become the application everyone is talking about. Its creator, Ben Rubin, a young Israeli 27-year-old developer, worked in Intel until he decided to leave the company to focus on his own projects. It was then when he came up with the idea of creating Meerkat, an application that is good for sharing intimate moments with people you know, but giving more strength to videos on the Internet. Last February 27th they managed to get Apple’s approval and include it in the Apple Store.Since then, and despite only being available for iOS, the application has been downloaded dozens of times, and above all it has managed the technical sector to turn their attention towards the meerkat. It works in a really simple way; once it is downloaded it is necessary to register using a Twitter account. The little bird network which now has 288 million active users worldwide, has not made any official comments about this and has limited to cut access to the app, something that is done when you find applications that threaten your supremacy. It wouldn’t be the first time that Twitter forbids an application in order to launch the same functionality themselves.
