Alba Adamo, Hispanic marketing director of The Coca-Cola Company, spoke to PRODU after the presentation of the brand on Hispanicize, titled Uncap your happiness, in which the executive shared the panel with Nely Galan, founder of The Adelante Movement, Sonja Lyubomirsky, psychology professor of the University of California and Nataly Arias, professional soccer player on the Colombian National Women’s Selection, and chaired by Maria Celeste Arraras.”For us, Hispanicize is a perfect platform to share with our community what we are doing and today was the perfect day for that because it was the International Happiness Day”, said Adamo.During the presentation, the panelists shared advice on how to reach happiness and live happier and more blooming lives, focusing on the economic empowerment of Latin women in the US, as well as on improving the work-life balance.This year we decided to jointly celebrate Latin women because they represent this emerging market and each time a Latin woman progresses, she is financially empowered. She reinvests 90% of her income in her family and in her community”, she added.Adamo and Galan spoke about the emerging market of businesswomen and women leaders in the USA, and the goal of Coca-Cola of empowering five million women worldwide.The Adelante Movement (Move Forward!), founded three years ago by Coca-Cola and Galan is a foundation program that allows Latin women to become business leaders and make their economic dreams come true.
