The Cannes festival announced that, after last year´s successful launching , it will continue the competition that acknowledges young talents in public relations: Young Lions PR. For the 2015 ceremony, they will maintain the alliance with the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO).Competitors work in pairs and have 24 hours to create a proposal that proves how public relations can be used to sensitize audiences with some topic the client needs.”The competition offers a real opportunity to young public relation people to prove their talent in a global scenario” said Steve Latham, Talent and Entertainment director of Cannes Lions. “With a brief by a carefully chosen charity organization, motivation increases because they know the work they do can make a big difference, since the organization can adopt and use the winning campaign. I am delighted that the ICCO accompanies us in this second year, helping us once more to leverage talent and awareness”.The ICCO, representative of the body of thought of public relations agencies will be present in the festival with its House of PR, located on the beachside. This will be the place to know prominent representatives of the public relations industry. These events will take place from June 22nd to 24th.The Cannes Lions festival is carried out from June 21st to 27th and will have a comprehensive learning program designed to accelerate the essential preparation in all levels and disciplines of the career. There will also be Young Lions competitions in the categories of: Print, Media, Cyber, Film, Design, and Marketers.
