Billboard, in partnership with the CLIO Awards, announced that the registration for the Billboard Latino Music Marketing Awards is open. The awards will take place in the framework of the Billboard Latino Music Conference Number 26 where music made for marketing and advertising will be given a special recognition.They reported that the contest will have nine categories and a jury of senior executives from top US agencies, brands and equipment of Billboard. Some highlighted juries are: Luis Miguel Messianu, president of Alma; Alex Lopez Negrete, CEO of Lopez Negrete Communications; Jorge Plasencia, chairman and CEO of República; Jim Cooper, executive director of AdWeek and Leila Cobo, executive director of Latino Content and Programming of Billboard.The team behind the CLIO Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the world for advertising, design and communications, is the same who is advising the selection process for the recognition of Latin music dedicated to marketing. These are the only awards in the world that recognize the convergence of music and advertising in the Latino space, recognizing the innovative work that shows the collaboration between music artists and brands.Registration is open until March 15th, pieces should be from the last year only. The finalists will be announced in April and the awards ceremony will be at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami Beach from April 27th to 29th.
