Alejandro Egozcue, Creative Director of LatinWorks spoke to PRODU after learning that the multicultural agency based in Austin, was recognized for their work in the last radio campaign for Cine Las Américas, getting two bronze awards in the Clio Awards in the categories of Audio and Audio technique. “The Clio Awards is a classic advertising, it is an award which was greatly appreciated and we always try to support the festival. In LatinWorks, we are pleased to have been recognized. The nicest thing about this is to have won first in the music category. This campaign was no radio per se, but songs which are then discovered were part of a campaign also inspired by quotes from politicians” Egozcue said.The creative team of LatinWorks noticed that several politicians, including Latin American presidents have very similar behavior to the rap artists in their speech, thus the campaign was born that shows the reality of the Latin countries through not so appropriate phrases of their leaders. “The concept of this campaign is to encourage consumers about the idea that if the Latin American reality is so bizarre, how can be the films born there” Egozcue said.For more information, visit: {CLIO Awards;www.clioawards.com}.
