McDonald’s announced its partnership with the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute, USHLI, and CoolSpeak for second consecutive year to present the Student Leadership Summit USHLI. The event, which covers ten cities, is part of the Student Leadership Series USHLI, aimed at promoting a culture of education.”At McDonald’s, we understand that the importance of education lies in creating opportunities for Hispanic students,” Patricia Diaz, director of Hispanic marketing for McDonald’s, said. “Since 1985, we have led the promotion of higher education for Hispanics, exploring new ways to encourage young people continuously. Through this partnership, we can connect with students in a fun and relevant way.”To identify with the students, the summit will feature motivational speakers of CoolSpeak, a strategy to promote youth engagement and improve education and inspire students to learn by infusing an attractive factor in the programs and events organization. “We share our personal perspectives and life experiences with students to challenge them to reach their full potential,” Carlos Ojea CEO of CoolSpeak, said. “We know these students have dreams and want to provide additional motivation for them to achieve their dreams.” The Student Leadership Summit USHLI 2014, presented by McDonald’s, is part of a combined national effort to encourage and provide resources to Hispanic students.
