In recognition of the Hispanic influence in the social and economic future of the USA, PNC celebrates the Hispanic Heritage Month by sponsoring over 26 community events in 17 cities across the country. These events reflect PNC’s commitment to the Hispanic segment while allowing them to compete for talent and deepens relationships with Hispanic customers.”Hispanics represent 17% of the population of the United States and $ 1.2 trillion in purchasing power,” Gustavus Bahr, Director manager of Corporate and Institutional Banking said. “These figures are a powerful reminder that we must invest in better understand and serve this fast growing market. Fortunately, these local events give us the opportunity to engage and strengthen our relationships with Hispanic customers.” PNC’s commitment to the Hispanic community extends beyond the Hispanic Heritage Month. We demonstrate our commitment to these communities through initiatives such as Grow up great, Spanish seminars on financial planning, cash flow of small business, involvement with local Hispanic chambers of commerce; and support for economic development initiatives Hispanics.PNC also has a dedicated team of customer service in Spanish. In addition, the Latino Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG) of PNC has more than 300 members and provides opportunities for professional development and networking contacts for employees throughout the year.
