James Goldston, president of ABC News, will join Isaac Lee, president and CEO of Fusion Univision Noticias, during a debate on the growing impact of the Millennial Generation in the TV industry. This meeting will be held during the 12th Hispanic Television Summit, on Thursday October, 2nd, 2014 at the Marriott Marquis in New York. The interview will be conducted by Alicia Menendez, hostess of the Alicia Menendez Tonight program.The Hispanic Television Summit is recognized as the annual conference of the TV business to the Hispanic audience and is presented by major publications Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News. The summit attracts over 500 senior executives from television distribution, programming, production, advertising, marketing, technology and finance of the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.According to the latest census data in the USA, 65% of Hispanics today are the Millennials, and one in five young people is of Hispanic origin. “This session shows how significantly the Hispanic audience has changed in just a few years, and how much TV in general and the Hispanic market is changing to attract younger Hispanics,” Louis Hillelson, VP and editor of Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News, said. James Goldston was appointed to the post of president of ABC News in early 2014, and Isaac Lee is CEO of Fusion and president of Univision Communications, the leading media company serving Hispanic Latin America.
