Grupo Gallegos announced the hiring of Marty Orzio as creative general director. Orzio has over 10 years of experience as Creative General Director at Gotham in New York and Energy BBDO in Chicago. After two years as CCO of Gotham, the agency was named # 1 by Ad Age, with clients like Denny’s, Best Western, and Chobani, as well as numerous awards. He had similar success at Energy BBDO, where he contributed to the growth of the agency by 50% in three and a half years, winning brands like Wrigleys, Dial, Jim Beam Brands, and Starbucks, to name a few.”Marty has a tremendous pedigree and reputation as an idea man, a storyteller, but more importantly, as a mentor for creative professionals,” John Gallegos, founder and CEO of GG, said. “He and I recognize the challenges faced by customers in increasing the diversity of the global market and we share a vision of how an agency can help launch a public that has the ability to be an important part of a customer´s growth.”Gallegos continued, “Marty’s appointment indicates how Grupo Gallegos is the evolution of our ethnicities, abilities, talents, perspectives and capabilities as an agency.
