Ford F-150 del 2015 será el camión más resistente que la compañía ha hecho hasta el momento
Ford Motor Company went beyond their laboratories to test the new F-150. The company put six prototype pickups in some of the workplaces of their fleet customers, then Ford evaluated the design and engineering of the next generation truck in the toughest conditions.Three old Ford customers, ignoring the experiment, received the prototypes of F-150 in 2011. After three years, these clients and the Ford team that manufactured the truck prototypes are convinced that the new Ford F-150 2015 will be the toughest truck that the company has made so far.”Our customers demand the highest levels of resistance and productivity, so we wanted to test the truck in the toughest conditions and in the hands of real customers,” Larry Queener, program director for the new F-150, said. “But we did not want them to know what was different. So we told them to use trucks like their other Ford trucks that work hard, and we love to follow up their progress.”Denis Kansier, F-150 engineer, visited the customers facilities and said: “This secret test gave results almost immediately and taught us lessons we have incorporated into the new F-150.”Before the first F-150 2015 is out of the assembly line, the new truck will have gone up 10 million miles of durability testing of real-world and simulated combined.
