@DunkinLatino: "Comencemos la más dulce de las conversaciones. América se mueve con Dunkin"
In an effort to reach the Hispanic community across America and the world, DunkinDonuts has launched a new Twitter account in Spanish: @DunkinLatino. It has the same orange and pink hues of the original account of Dunkin ‘Donuts, with pictures of donuts and iced coffee. “Let’s start the sweetest conversations. America moves with Dunkin” the description of the account says.Currently, the bill is just over a thousand followers, but we expect that number to grow. To get introduced to Hispanics tweeters, Dunkin ‘Latino wrote in its first message: “América se mueve con @DunkinDonuts y estamos felices de presentar al nuevo integrante de nuestra Twitter-familia @DunkinLatino ( America moves with @ DunkinDonuts and we are happy to introduce the newest member of our Twitter-family).With this presentation, Dunkin ‘Donuts expects to get close to 16% of the U.S. population, according to the 2010 census, which reported more than 48 million Hispanics in the country at the time of the census. So, for America to truly move with Dunkin ‘, the Spanish-speaking community is an essential piece of the puzzle.Last year, the brand also launched its website and mobile site in Spanish to especially attract the attention of the West Coast of the U.S., where there is a greater presence of Spanish speakers. The strategy can also be seen as a direct confrontation to the strong competition with Starbucks.
