Peleo-Lazar: Año tras año aprendo algo nuevo en Cannes y esta vez no es la excepción

Marlena Peleo-Lazar, CCO of McDonald´s spoke with PRODU during the Cannes Lions 2014, a very special edition for the brand, as it received the award for Marketer of the year, for its innovative presentation of their products across multiple platforms, thus encouraging creativity in communications.”Every year, there is something special to see in Cannes, see all the work around the world through the best creative platform is inspiring. Every year, I learn something new and this time is no exception. I am excited to see all the digital work being done, also initiatives on real time, as well as traditional work, with really excellent and inspiring pieces, and it is a very exciting time for the industry,” Peleus-Lazar said.As for the award the brand received, Peleus-Lazar felt honored by the recognition of the festival to the hard work of the entire McDonald’s system. “This award recognizes the inspiring and long-lasting relationships we have with our agencies worldwide and reaffirms our heritage and the creative power of the brand to connect with customers around the world with a local accent,” she said.Meanwhile, Luis Miguel Messianu, ALMA’s president and CCO for the McDonald’s account in the U.S. Hispanic market, took the opportunity to extend his congratulations through the platform of PRODU.”For us in ALMA and to me personally is a great pride, it is 20 years of work that make us feel a great affection for the brand, and it gives us great joy that McDonald’s is awarded” Messianu said.
