Jim Zoolalian directs new campaign for Hyundai that will be broadcast during the 2014 FIFA World Cup

Jim Zoolalian has been directing commercials for a decade, including campaigns for Lexus, Sprint, Sears, 7-Eleven, Budweiser, MTV and more. Besides, he is known for including comedy and art in his projects without any effort. Milagro, one of Zoolalian’s most known short films, won in the International Festival of Cinema, Cannes 2011. Recently, he worked for a new advertising campaign for US Hispanic market. It is called Gol, a commercial for Hyundai, that will be broadcast in Spanish and English during the 2014 World Cup, event that started on June 12th. “The main goal is to allow possible buyers of a Hyundai Sonata to get an official 2014 FIFA Cup ball,” the director assured. “Besides, we see that true love for sports is expressed through the emotion of a Hyundai’s dealer employees.”The initiative is focused on the Hispanic market, mainly; nevertheless, the objective is to be remembered among viewers. “This is a unique project that can really be attractive for anyone who loves football.” Zoolalian considers that there are some small nuances and subtleties, almost imperceptible that can be considered really impressive. “I love creating this kind of world in a commercial and, above all, seeing how people react,” he explained.This production lasted a month, approximately, and now it can be watched in every match of 2014 Brazil World Cup.
