Cannes Lions Festival fills remaining jury president posts

The definitive list of names that will make up the exceptional group of jury presidents assembled for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has now been announced by the organizers, including the first president of the new category, Product Design Lions.Cannes Lions sets precedents and benchmarks in creative communications the world over. This is only made possible by pulling together the greatest and most respected minds from across the industry. 2014 sees a collection of leading names coming together in Cannes to preside over their respective juries and its a real privilege to have them working alongside us said Terry Savage, chairman of Lions Festivals.Among the presidents of juries evaluating the contending works will be Doug Scott, founder and president of Ogilvy Entertainment, in the Branded Content & Entertainment category; James McGrath, creative chairman of Clemenger BBDO Group, Australia, in the Direct Lions category; Karl Heiselman, global CEO of Wolff Olins for Design Lions; Brian Carmody, co-founder and managing partner of Smuggler, USA, for Film Craft Lions; and Jaime Robinson, executive creative director of Pereira & ODell for Mobile Lions, among others.The annual Cannes Lions, with thousands of delegates and competing pieces from around the World, will take place between June 15-21 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on Frances glamorous Cote dAzur. Details on how to compete or otherwise take part in the Festival of Creativity can be found on the Cannes Lions website. Works vying for a Lion will be accepted up to March 28, 2014.
