Vme TV, the first national television network in Spanish, along with the public television channels and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, or HHF, have announced their new partnership. The purpose of this alliance is to expand access to high-quality educational programs for the Hispanic community in the United States through the HHF’s prizewinning programs and national initiatives focused on innovation and leadership in the classroom, the community, and the workforce.”We are thrilled to partner with Vme and showcase outstanding young Latinos” said Jose Antonio Tijerino, president and CEO of HHF. “But more importantly, through this relationship we will be inspiring, preparing and connecting Latino youth to be innovative leaders in the priority fields for America to move forward in the future”. “Both Vme TV and HHF are rooted in not only promoting Hispanic culture, but also in enriching and nurturing its growth by providing resources that meet the needs of Hispanic families” said Victor Cerda, VP of corporate strategy at Vme TV. Together the organizations will develop, produce and broadcast special programming and spots that showcase the contributions of the Latino community and inspire viewers to value education and achieve success.”Clearly, this partnership is a natural fit, but more importantly, it comes at a critical point when we need to be doing all that we can to ensure the success and growth of Latinos in the United States” Cerda said.
