IPG Mediabrands elevates Henry Tajer to director of global operations

IPG Mediabrands, the media innovation arm of the Interpublic Group, announced that Henry Tajer, current executive chairman of the award-winning IPG Mediabrands Australia, has been elevated to the position of director of global operations for IPG Mediabrands, reporting directly to Global CEO Matt Seiler. Tajer is charged with accelerating the program of worldwide growth established for the organization. He will have offices in Sydney and New York.After serving during the past three years as executive chairman of the prizewinning IPG Mediabrands in Australia, he will continue in that role while directing IPG Mediabrands global network initiatives including for mobile, social media marketing and data, and investment in media through MAGNA worldwide.The company also said that Russell Marsh, currently group strategy director for Rapp United Kingdom and head of mobile for Rapp worldwide, has been tabbed as the London-based chief data officer. Both roles are critical to the global growth and automation agendas established by the organization. As part of his responsibilities, Marsh will work closely with the MAGNA, MAP and Agency Brands companies to promote groundbreaking investments in analytics, business intelligence, management of client campaigns and cross-market insight of the world market.“The business has performed very well and my energies will focus on accelerating initiatives that continue to lift our performance for clients and for our businesses overall” Tajer said.
