The Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The conference, to be held April 21-24, 2014, at the JW Mariott Marquis in Miami, will climax with the Latin Music Awards ceremony, which will air live on Telemundo.”For the past 25 years, the Billboard brand has been the leading advocate and the go-to name for Latin artists and the Latin music industry worldwide” said Leila Cobo, Billboard’s executive director of Latin content and programming. For the past 25 years the conference has enjoyed the support of such leading brands as State Farm, AT&T, Western Union, Walmart, Diageo, Wrigley, Heineken, Google, Vevo, Pandora, Facebook, Goya, Spotify, Zumba, Sony, Muve Music, Deezer and more.”State Farm is honored to be a part of the Billboard Latin Music Conference tradition as it celebrates 25 years,” said Tim Van Hoof, assistant VP of marketing at State Farm. “This event is a significant pillar in the world of Latin music and we are happy to be able to have been a part of it for the last five years”.In 2014 the conference will also include The Marketing Exchange, a program focused on the latest trends in Latin music marketing. The Marketing Exchange will also present the 4th annual Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards that honors the integration of music in marketing, as well as the agencies and record labels that produced successful campaigns last year.
