El 86% de las mujeres de 35 años o más, dicen que su mejor modelo femenino a seguir es alguien que conocen personalmente
In an effort to achieve a better understanding of the challenges facing women and the way they inspire each other to overcome hard times, the makers of Pine-Sol Brand Cleaners commissioned Wakefield Research to take a survey among American women. According to the results, 86 percent of women 35 years old or older say their best female role model is someone they know personally, not a celebrity or a political figure. During tough times, women have proved to be resilient and resourceful, overcoming obstacles to improve their lives, their families, and in turn, their communities,” said Stephanie Mann, marketing manager for Pine-Sol at the Clorox Company.According to the study, 27 percent of women say the character trait they most admire in other women is self-confidence, followed by courage with 20 percent, strength with 18 percent, optimism with 17 percent, and grace with 12 percent. Women say they first learned to overcome their fears around the time they turned 30, with 56 percent saying they feel more independent now than they did five years ago.To recognize and honor remarkable women among U.S. Hispanics, Pine-Sol is launching a version of the campaign in Spanish Aunque el Camino Sea Dificil, las Mujeres No Se Rinden featuring the actress and activist Rosie Perez.Up to Jan. 31, 2014, women can contribute to the Pine-Sol collection of stories by sharing their own tales of overcoming tough times on Women Rise Above It.
